Not sure what to do? Come along to Sheringham's seafront museum. Lots to see from material covering the Deep History Coast and the old shops on Shannock Street to huge lifeboats from the past! We're open today, closed Sunday but open again Bank Holiday Monday from 10 a.m. till 4.30 p.m.

Not sure what to do this Bank Holiday? Sheringham Museum is open today! This year's summer exhibiton has works from three artists - John Craske, Cecil Hewitt and Tom Armes on display. From photographs to embroidery to astonishing art we are definitely worth a visit. Join us to step back in time in the Deep History Coast and see our amazing collection of lifeboats.

Step back into the past and visit Sheringham Museum. Set sail for the seafront this Saturday, 11th April. and find out more about the Deep History Coast. Today you can craft your very own Viking axe made out of entirely reclaimed paper — a fun, eco-friendly activity that's included with your standard museum admission. The craft making sessions run from 10am to 12pm or 2pm to 4pm.

Stuck for something to do? Sheringham Museum is open on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday. We're open each day from 10.00 until 4.30 but not Sundays.
Discover Sheringham's maritime history, climb the tower for a spectular view and visit this year's summer exhibition, "The Stitcher, The Photographer and The Painter". The exhibition celebrates the work of three local artists, John Craske, Cecil Hewitt and Tom Armes.
These three artists lived in Sheringham at various points in their lives. John Craske, the stitcher, went to school in Sheringham. Cecil Hewitt, the photographer, spent long holidays at his family's coastal home and Tom Armes, the painter, retired to Sheringham.
So come on down to the seafront in Sheringham and immerse yourself in North Norfolk's fascinating history.
