Every year the Herring Girls would knit and work their way down the country following the fishing fleet. If you'd like to find out more come along to Sheringham Museum to visit a 'pop up' exhibition from the Suffolk Archive 'Following the Fish'.

Not sure what to do? Come along to Sheringham's seafront museum. Lots to see from material covering the Deep History Coast and the old shops on Shannock Street to huge lifeboats from the past! We're open today, closed Sunday but open again Bank Holiday Monday from 10 a.m. till 4.30 p.m.

Not sure what to do this Bank Holiday? Sheringham Museum is open today! This year's summer exhibiton has works from three artists - John Craske, Cecil Hewitt and Tom Armes on display. From photographs to embroidery to astonishing art we are definitely worth a visit. Join us to step back in time in the Deep History Coast and see our amazing collection of lifeboats.
