A fun day today filled with future planning. This would usually be done for this year in the autumn of last year but after such a busy start to the year with two art fairs and a major exhibition in the first three months of the year, there has been little time to think further ahead. Or you could see it as leaving space for a change to plans - like finding and moving into a permanent physical space. So actually, all exactly as planned.

Today we're embracing storeroom chic as we've decided to pause work on our new gallery space to open the doors for the busy half-term.

It feels a little exposing to open or post something half-finished - maybe over exposure to the beautiful transformations we see on here which happens in the blink of a reel - but it feels really good to start getting our artists work on display and seeing how it looks in this wonderful airy space.

Find us at unit 12 at where you will also find open at our neighbours for as well as and for a coffee and/or sweet treat break.

We are open today until 4pm, Tuesday 10am-5pm, Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-5pm. All other times by appointment so just get in touch to arrange as we would love to show you what we're building here.

A commission of botanical plates by Zuleika Melluish - presented to choose between but all happily snapped up to live together.

Many of our artists work between different threads of their work. While many will now be familiar with Zuleika's porcelain sculptures of plants, her botanical imprinted tableware - pressing dried plants directly into the surface of the clay to get striking impressions - is where her work started from. These are the pieces we were introduced to her work through about 8 years ago and which we can't imagine ever not being amazed by as every line of a petal, leaf, stem and seedhead is presented with such delicate detail.

We couldn't be more excited to see gallery artist Bisila Noha's two Reunion sculptures on display at the newly opened Museum. Acquired through the gallery by the V&A at in 2022, we have been eagerly awaiting their place in this innovative new museum, celebrating making and creativity's power to bring change.

Bisila's work can be found within the museum's permanent 'Why We Make' galleries - and has been featured by as one of their object highlights from this.

The museum opening comes just after our solo exhibition 'Bisila Noha: Ile Ọkàn at which you can still explore via our website.

Bisila's artist page also presents more background information and all available works. Meanwhile, this summer you will also be able to view the works in person in Cornwall - more on this coming soon.

There's something about the small and mighty.

Ella Porter's 'Jet Beaded Box with Cream/Silver Glass Net' photographed here (image 1) with her latest series of large beaded vessels. This is a piece asking you to lean in, rewarded with contrasting textures, the play of light and dark and that special found fragment that everything started from.
