The Rifles Museum

The Rifles Museum The Regimental Museum of The Rifles The collection will tell the story of The Regiment and its people; Riflemen and families.

The collection was set up in 2013 as a new endeavor by The Rifles Regiment to record its history and the service of our soldiers by preserving artifacts, photographs, audio clips and film footage to record the history of Britain's newest and largest Infantry Regiment since formation in 2007. The Rifles Collection tells the story of today’s Regiment, and celebrates the links to our forefathers in t

he founding Regiments. The Rifles Collection is a separate collection to those of our founding Regiments, but with strong links back to them as indeed the Regiment has to its forebears. It is readily acknowledged that the forming regiments and their antecedents each have their own unique story to tell and that these stories are already best told within the existing network of Rifles’ Museums, but that their influence on the ethos of The Rifles is a legacy The Rifles Collection will embrace in the telling.
