Tudor House Worcester Free access to 500 years of history Tudor House brings the lost stories of Worcester’s history to life!

Tudor House is a unique slice of Tudor life in the heart of historic Worcester, run almost entirely by volunteers, who stepped in to take over the running of the museum when it was threatened with closure. Built in the early 1500s for a local cloth maker, it is now a FREE museum where you can explore the different aspects of life in the city, watch textile demonstrations, discover how the Tudors

would have lived and get involved with keeping the city’s heritage alive. Seat yourself in the 17th Century tavern or nose around the 16th Century bedroom, peak in at the ARPs office or refresh yourself in our charming coffee shop, inspired by Richard Cadbury’s work here. The sun is shining and our courtyard is full of family friendly activities to enjoy today. Drop in to find out all about Tudor gardens, and plant your own herb to take home with you. Our family room is open all day too, with lots of traditional games to play inside in the cool.

We are really looking forward to our half term holiday activities for children and families, which are running on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11am-3pm this week. Drop in anytime to join in the fun, learn about herbs and spices used in Tudor England, and plant your own herb to take home. Our family room is open all week too, with lots of games and activities for all ages!

We always love welcoming school learning groups to Tudor House Museum for one of our activity workshop days, and this week it was a pleasure to have children from St Joseph's Primary School in Ross-on-Wye visit us for a World War II activity day. The children and staff came all dressed up for the occasion, with some fantastic World War II inspired costumes, and great fun was had by all. We can't wait for you to visit us again!

We have lots to keep children busy over May half-term.
