Gallery Zozimus We are in the centre of Dublin's Arts and Antiques Quarter of Francis St in the historic Liberties in Dublin.

Having closed in our premises at 55/56 Francis street in December 2019 we were delighted to be able to re open in our new premises next door and no. 57 Francis street, sharing with Niall Mullen Antiques, in September ( we had planned to re open in April but sadly that could not happen).

It's Pride and we are HERE for it 🏳️‍⚧️🏳‍🌈

Art has always been at the heart of q***r expression, a tool used to say I exist, I'm beautiful, and I'm not going anywhere especially when the world wasn't always ready to hear it out loud. From the painters, poets and performers who created in secret, to the trailblazers who helped us get to where we are today, we salute and thank you.

We celebrate loudly and joyfully this Pride, while keeping in our hearts those who still can't. In too many parts of the world, being yourself is still an act of courage. So, we wave the flag a little harder for them too. 🌍❤️

Our creative family is getting bigger!
We're welcoming a brilliant new artist this week. Karolina Di Duca brings mixed media magic to the Gallery. Combining collage and abstract techniques, Karolina creates eye catching paintings full of colour and texture. We have secured some of her horse inspired pieces and a cast of fun, quirky animals full of personality in vibrant alcohol inks. 🐒🐷🐋

Karolina has been honing her craft for years, working across multiple mediums and exhibiting widely across Ireland and Europe. Most recently, she was invited to show as part of the Women's Essence 10th anniversary exhibit at Centro Culturale di Milano, Italy, and she has been invited to show in the Port Gallery in Barcelona, and Ara Contemporary Art Centre in Seoul, Korea.

New work in from artist David Gayda at Gallery Zozimus.

David Gayda's two latest works at Gallery Zozimus showcase his confident feel for the sea, rendered in the deep blues, greens, and silvers that characterise his marine palette. The paintings draw on underwater photography by his daughter Megan, a marine photographer, whose images serve as a direct inspiration for his seascapes.

Two stunning new pieces by Jackie Hudson Lalor have just arrived at Gallery Zozimus and we couldn't be more thrilled to welcome them.

"Samhain" and "Zeus the Bollix", both first shown in Jackie's celebrated solo exhibition "Absinthe & Absence", are now with us and available for our clients.

Jackie's work has such a distinctive energy; bold, evocative, and utterly memorable. From Jackie "an autobiographical narrative runs through my work, exploring issues around psychological trauma, interpersonal relationships and female agency".
