LM - Limerick Museum Limerick Museum - Curating the past for the future. Limerick Museum, is the official museum for Limerick City and County Council.

Founded in 1907, and opened in 1916. Previous locations:
1907-1975: City Library, Pery Square (now Limerick City Gallery of Art)
1975-1979: Closed to the Public
1979-1998: St John's Square
1999-2012: Castle Lane (beside King John's Castle)
2012-2017: Istabraq Hall, City Hall
2017-Today: Old Franciscan Friary
