We live in a world, where multiple realities co-exist. And each one has their own place in the world.

Navigating the Grey is a experiential workshop exploring multiple lived realities and the spaces between opposing viewpoints.

Collectively, we will inquire about the ambivalence that makes us human—not to arrive at answers, but to cultivate a capacity for different understanding.

An invitation to explore ambiguity, to listen with openness & to hold complex reality with warmth.

Come curious. Leave with new perspective.

Conflictorium becomes a space of inquiry and experimentation, as the visitor turns artist: asking herself, and us:

WHAT IS WORTHY?

A visitor-as-artist exhibition, screening, performance, reading and discussion by Snigdha Mukta.

Through images, performances, cinematic memory, cultural icons, and acts of self-reflection, the event explores how worth is constructed, performed, desired, and inherited.

About the Artist: Snigdha, a writer and performer, has long been trying to tie the loose ends that the personal and the professional insist on leaving untied.

How does the tender flower come dressed in such dreadful thorny attire?

Is Earth merely a passive absorber of human greed and violent violation?
Or is ecology nurturing a secret assault against its own obliteration?

The diseases we fight, our bodies enduring a lifetime, seem so strong…
Only till one day, fragility is revealed.

RESILIENCE BENEATH FRAGILITY?

A creative writing and visual art online workshop investigating:

vulnerability,
collapse,
endurance,
and the strange resilience that survives through falling apart.

What changes when we speak a little differently, hesitate a little less, or stay a little longer?

Right Now, Wrong Then (2015, Hong Sang-soo, South Korea) unfolds through repetition, awkward tenderness, and the quiet unpredictability of human encounters. In the subtle differences between two meetings lies a gentle reflection on perception, behaviour, and the possibility of becoming otherwise.

Part of Self Surrounding Sensual: a film festival lingering between distance and desire.

What is the one memory you would choose to keep forever?”

After Life (1998, Hirokazu Kore-eda, Japan) dwells in the fragile space between memory and meaning, where lives are revisited through moments of tenderness, loss, warmth, and return. In choosing what remains, the film gently reflects on what it means to have truly lived.

Distance is not what separates us; perhaps it is what allows us to keep returning.

Certified Copy (2010, Abbas Kiarostami, Iran) moves through shifting identities, uncertain intimacies, and the fragile space between performance and truth. What begins as an encounter slowly unfolds into a meditation on recognition, longing, and the desire to be seen.

AHMEDABAD

‘On the occasion of a collaboration between Mould Art Space and Conflictorium Museum, we invite you for an evening:

An evening to think about where we find space, when the city only offers markets and mirrors.
An evening to explore how we hold on, let go, and make space for ourselves in the city.

And to ask: where do we go, when everything begins to feel the same?

An evening that lingers between holding and letting go...
