Planet Patna was delighted to host an engaging Book Discussion on “Bihar Ke Vyanjan: Sanskriti aur Itihas” with senior journalist and researcher Shri Ravishankar Upadhyay. The session unfolded as a rich dialogue on Bihar’s culinary traditions, tracing the intersections of food, culture, and history through meticulous research and lived narratives.

From the stories behind litti-chokha to the cultural memory embedded in regional delicacies, the discussion offered a nuanced perspective on how cuisine functions as a historical archive.

वरिष्ठ पत्रकार और शोधकर्ता Shri Ravishankar Upadhyay ने अपनी मेहनत और 5 साल के लंबे शोध से एक ऐसी कृति रची है जो बिहार की पाक कला को सिर्फ भोजन नहीं, बल्कि एक जीवंत संस्कृति के रूप में पेश करती है। उनकी किताब "बिहार के व्यंजन: संस्कृति और इतिहास" सिर्फ एक पुस्तक नहीं, बल्कि बिहार की मिट्टी की सुगंध और यहाँ के पूर्वजों की विरासत का दस्तावेज़ है।

On the occasion of 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐲, 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐧𝐚 organised a "special Heritage Walk". We're glad to announce that we've received an overwhelming response for this, and the walk was a blast!!

Young souls participated, bringing their spirited energy to the floor and exploring the city's hidden corners with Planet Patna. We're glad to share that we've carved out an opportunity for the youth of Patna to explore Patna in a better way.

𝟑𝟎 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟏𝟔𝟗𝟗 - The foundation of the Khalsa was not a sudden rupture, but a carefully articulated vision of equality, discipline, and resistance. What emerged at Anandpur Sahib under 𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐮 𝐆𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡 was a reconfiguration of identity itself— where hierarchy was rejected, and sovereignty was internalised.

𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐧𝐚 commemorates this historical event and remembers 𝐆𝐮𝐫𝐮 𝐆𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐡 𝐉𝐢 on this occasion. The Guru famously said -
