Our exhibition THE MYTH OF SUPERHEROES wrapped up a month ago in Tampere, Finland, and we are still celebrating its success: 150.000 visitors visited the exhibition!

This exhibition—bringing together archaeological statues and modern objects from comics and action figures to contemporary sculptures and movie posters—explores the concept of “modern mythology”, showing how today’s most famous superheroes were inspired by the gods and goddesses of the ancient world.

From Hercules to Superman, from Amazons to Wonder Woman, from Mercury
to Flash, legends change their appearance, but remain faithful to their original
mission to guide new generations towards a better, brighter future.

The submerged landscapes surrounding the island of Sicily and the Italian coastline come to life in our exhibition SUNKEN TREASURES, ANCIENT SEAS: ARTIFACTS FROM THE DEEP, now open at the History Museum of Mobile for its second U.S. venue!

We are excited to announce the opening of this unique exhibition,
developed in collaboration with the Soprintendenza del Mare of Palermo, and dedicated to the fascinating topic of underwater archaeology. Shipwrecks—and the tools and methods used to recover ancient artifacts, buried treasures, and historical evidence—take center stage in a multi-element exhibition, with a special focus on the Mediterranean Sea and the traces of the ancient civilizations that once flourished there. A selection of original artifacts bears witness to past civilizations, while modern equipment, immersive rooms, and illustrations recount the stories of their rediscovery, excavation, and restoration.
A unique opportunity to dive into the depths of the Sicilian seas and discover their submerged wonders.

The exhibition will be on view at the History Museum of Mobile from January 23 to May 10, 2026.

Closing 2025 with a new, special exhibition: “The Medici Dynasty. Renaissance in Florence” is now open at the Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art (The AGB) at Florida Southern College until April 2026!
Through a selection of more than 60 works of art, including Medici portraits and unique objets d’art, the exhibition - curated by Martina Becattini, curator of the Museo Stibbert Quadreria - aims at tracing the vicissitudes of the Medici’s illustrious dynasty, stories of war, love, betrayal and family secrets, while encapsulating and exemplifying the Renaissance as it unfolded in Florence. Among the characters represented, not only all the Grand Dukes, but also the many sons, daughters and descendants. Portrait painting was but one of the many genres of art that they embraced for generations, serving them well as they ruled the Duchy of Tuscany for generations.

Thanks to the great team of the AGB Museum, the Stibbert Museum and all the partners involved.

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved President, Architect Patrizia Pietrogrande.
Over the past year, Patrizia bravely faced serious health challenges that put her to a severe test, and on the evening of Sunday, December 14, she passed away.

The funeral service will be held today, Wednesday, December 17, at 3:00 p.m. at the Church of S. Ambrogio – Borgo la Croce, 95R – 50121 Florence.

Patrizia founded Contemporanea Progetti 1999, with Architect Eugenio Martera. Together, they shared a lifelong collaboration through projects, exhibitions, and travels around the world, dedicated to promoting and enhancing Italy’s cultural heritage internationally. She has been a pioneer in the cultural field, bringing to light the often-hidden treasures preserved in the storage rooms of Italian museums through high-level traveling exhibitions of great scientific and cultural value. Over the years, with Contemporanea Progetti, she curated and produced more than 300 international exhibitions in collaboration with prestigious national museums. Patrizia always guided us with vision, foresight, and profound passion. Her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in all of us who had the privilege of working alongside her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any donations be made to the Fondazione Italiana di Leniterapia, which accompanied her with humanity, respect, and professionalism until her final days.
