MAREA opens Saturday 30 May at Plan X Capri.
The exhibition brings together Sabrina Bockler, Ruben Einsmann, Shawn Huckins, and CB Hoyo through works that approach the image as something fluid, unstable, and never entirely resolved.

Taking its title from the Italian word for tide, MAREA looks at the way images move through perception: how they surface, disappear, return, and leave traces behind.

At its core, MAREA is about the moment before an image settles, when what we see is still moving, still open, and still capable of becoming something else.

Excited to introduce Plan X (XS), our new project space and second location in Capri.

We wanted to create a place where art could be seen in a more direct way. Not more casual, not simplified, but closer: to the street, to the people passing by, to the everyday movement outside.

Extra small in scale, Plan X (XS) will host special projects, focused presentations, and temporary interventions by artists invited to work with this format, where visibility, exposure, and proximity are part of the experience.

Pascal Möhlmann approaches Caravaggio as a living image, not a monument.
In JUDITH & HEINZ, the historical reference enters a world where classical composition, theatrical tension, humour, and contemporary detail coexist without hierarchy.
The result is unmistakably Pascal: precise and irreverent, painterly and direct, suspended between art history and everyday iconography.

Yatreda’s Digital Nefse brings sculpture into dialogue with film, blockchain, and ancestral memory.
Rooted in Ethiopian history, ritual, and traditional making techniques, the project gives physical form to stories that move across matter, image, and spiritual presence.
Each sculpture becomes a body for transmission, carrying memory beyond the limits of material form.

A knife, a tattoo reading f**k ’em, a grip that feels both deliberate and instinctive. In Pascal Möhlmann’s painting, these elements do not resolve into a fixed narrative; they build a scene where toughness becomes image, posture becomes language, and meaning remains unsettled.
Part of “The Importance of Importance” now on view at Plan X Milan.
