Grazie a Daniela Bigi e Arte e Critica per questo approfondimento dedicato ad A PICK GALLERY.

L’articolo ripercorre una dimensione fondamentale del nostro lavoro: la ricerca. THE GEOMETRY OF PLACES

The exhibition brings together the work of Michael Conrads, Riccardo Dapino and James Scott Brooks in a dialogue about how places can be interpreted, reduced, transformed and reconstructed through geometry. Though their approaches differ, all three artists use geometric structures as tools to rethink landscape, space and language.

Presented at Pep Llabrés Art Contemporani in Palma de Mallorca as part of the exchange between TAG Torino Art Galleries and Art Palma Contemporani, the exhibition reflects on the idea of place as a system of relationships, forms and invisible structures waiting to be discovered.

The fair has just come to a close, and we would like to thank everyone who shared these days with us.

We presented a solo exhibition by Mila Dobrevska (Skopje, 1999), whose practice spans tapestries, mosaics, and painting, reflecting on themes of memory and identity.

We are also proud to announce that we have received the Premio Acquisición Colección Manuel García for the work “Abbraccio Addormentato”. This is a meaningful recognition for our first participation in and an important milestone that we are delighted to share.

For Leila, photographing is not a detached act of witnessing, but a biographical necessity — a way of responding to a crucial question: how do we love, laugh, and imagine the future when the horizon is marked by uncertainty?
The images on display portray a generation that shares the same desires as their peers across the world, yet lives under a different sky. We see bodies reaching for one another, gazes charged with vital melancholy, moments of togetherness suspended in time. War does not appear through physical ruins, but through an almost spiritual intensity of presence, a background noise, a shadow that makes colors more saturated and smiles more urgent.

La prima mostra personale in Italia di Mila Dobrevska (Skopje, 1999) è un’esplorazione profonda e materica sui concetti di sradicamento, appartenenza e ricostruzione del sé. Il titolo, “Escapismo: la memoria e l’identità”, suggerisce non una fuga passiva dalla realtà, ma una ricerca attiva di rifugio all’interno dei propri ricordi e delle proprie radici, trasformando la nostalgia in un territorio di nuove possibilità.

La mostra sarà visibili fino al 6 giugno 2026

Esiste una sottile linea di demarcazione tra la cronaca di un conflitto e il racconto della vita che vi scorre attraverso. Leila Erdman Tabukashvili, artista nomade e poliedrica nata in Siberia nel 1995, si posiziona esattamente su questo confine. La sua fotografia cerca il battito ostinato della normalità laddove la normalità è diventata un atto di resistenza.

La mostra sarà visibili fino al 6 giugno 2026

A seguito dell’inaugurazione della mostra sarà presentato nel contesto di “Esterno Notte” l’opera video “I’m not afraid of the Apocalypse, I’m afraid you don’t love me anymore” in cui emerge lo spostamento del dramma dal piano collettivo a quello intimo. La vera tragedia non è la fine del mondo, ma la fine del sentimento, la perdita della connessione umana. 
“Esterno Notte” è una delle rassegne inserite in .photo.festival che si svolge in città dal 9 aprile al 2 giugno 2026. Sempre nel contesto del festival, il lavoro di Leila Erdman Tabukashvili è presente nel progetto “I tuffatori (6x3)” a cura di , mostra collettiva a cielo aperto, che si sviluppa su 26 grandi billboard lungo le strade di Torino. Quattro opere selezionate e stampate 6 metri per 3, saranno affisse per tutto il periodo in Via Botticelli 219-217, nei pressi di Piazza Sofia.
