Happy to See You
That feeling when something familiar suddenly brings new energy.
I had almost forgotten how much I enjoyed working with oils. Welcoming an old love back into my studio.

Back again
Loose marks, unexpected colours and no need to know where it is going.
Working with oils again feels slower. The paint asks me to pause and then I saw a chicken in it 😀

Welcome Back, My Old Friend

I started my painting journey with oils, but then I moved to acrylics, a fast and wonderful medium that really suits my way of working.
Still, oil paint has something sophisticated and deep, warm colors. So I picked it up again, bringing new skills and experiences with me.
And I like it. A lot.
