Hug Bryggen Hugleik, a welcoming gallery centered on Love and acceptance, Magic and wonder. Hi, I'm Nille! Welcome to my universe — I hope it brings you magic. Love, Nille ✨

A space designed to make you feel at home and accepted no matter your expression. I'm a passionate illustrator drawn to the magical, the mythical, and the mysterious. My art lives where Nordic folklore meets pop culture — a place where ancient stories are reimagined through bold colors, wild creatures, and a touch of everyday magic. Since 2009, I’ve been creating illustrations and products that invite people into enchanted worlds — whether it's through art prints, wearable stories, or whimsical designs inspired by old legends and new fandoms. Growing up surrounded by forests, fjords, and fairytales, I found my creative voice in the mix of tradition and imagination. Today, I channel that inspiration into modern fantasy rooted in Norwegian nature, queer joy, and visual storytelling. If just one image can spark a sense of wonder, imagine what a whole world of them can do.

People spend the day waiting for evening
The week waiting for friday
The year waiting for summer
And a lifetime waiting for happiness
But happiness is not waiting in the next holiday
Or the coming weekend
It’s not somewhere ahead of you
It’s the habit of missing life
There is no such thing
There is only the moment
And what you choose to make of it
And when you understand
You don’t wait for happiness
You practice it
