Advocacy groups BAYAN USA and Migrante USA are calling for the immediate release of Chantal Anicoche, who is confirmed to be under the custody of the Armed Forces of the Philippines following military operations in Abra de Ilog, Mindoro.

Supporters say Chantal was reported missing after aerial bombings in the area and that her continued detention raises serious concerns for her safety. They are urging transparency from authorities and an end to military attacks affecting civilian and indigenous Mangyan communities.

The groups also seek justice for civilians affected by the operations, including Jerlyn Doydora, and demand an end to bombings and alleged human rights violations in Mindoro.
