Meet one of our World Hula Hoop Championships 2026 judges! ⭕✨

We’re so pleased to welcome Madhumathi Dharmar Singaravel back to our judging panel.

Originally from Tamil Nadu, India, and now living in Sweden, Madhumathi started hooping at just 12. She has spent nearly two decades teaching hula hoop and art to children and adults, sharing her passion and creativity along the way.

She’s also a Globe Fit-certified Hula Hoop Trainer, a previous championships participant and a returning judge. It’s lovely to have her involved again! 💜

Madhumathi is looking forward to seeing the creativity, dedication and talent in this year’s entries—and wishes every participant the very best of luck.

Please join us in giving her a warm welcome! 🌍⭕

🌍✨ Sharing What I Know, Celebrating What I LoveOver the years I’ve learned so much about the humble hoop — from its ancient roots in Egypt and Greece, to how sailors in Hawaii named it after the hula dance, to the big 1950s plastic hoop boom that made it famous worldwide.
Today, hooping has grown into fitness, flow art, and a joyful community, and I’m happy to share a small part of that history while celebrating my own 19‑year journey with it.
Still learning, still spinning, still loving the circle that keeps us moving.
