In many ways, the SCSC is a potential space for anything you can dream of. We invite you to schedule a viewing at your earliest convenience. This week's artist highlight: .arthouse! Her work explores themes that range from personal growth to relationship dynamics, and the subject she uses to express these widely evocative themes? Chairs.

'Why chairs?' you might ask?

In Emily's own words: "I think chairs are an evocative metaphor for the human experience. I imagine them as figures or emotions in my work; their arrangements and interactions suggest the architecture of intimacy and the space between us. They symbolize the presence of stillness."
