🎨🍎 Help us stock the shelves with creativity and nourishment!

At Art in the Loft, a stocked fridge and a shelf full of art supplies create opportunities for children to try something new, build confidence, and discover what they can accomplish.

Our Stock the Shelves Community Campaign aims to raise $19,000 to support Ready, Set, Create! and Food as Fuel for local fourth grade students. These programs serve around 400 students through 64 sessions each school year, bringing hands-on art, culinary education, and nutritious meals together.

Every dollar helps provide fresh ingredients, art supplies, equipment, and the space and resources that make these experiences possible. 💛

Please consider donating through the QR code pictured below OR clink the link below and sharing this post. Your support helps keep these opportunities available for the children in our community.

Together, we can fill more than shelves. We can fill young minds with creativity, confidence, and possibility!

While Art in the Loft is closed to the public, our programs and events have continued!

Our Food as Fuel and Ready, Set, Create programs are underway, welcoming fourth grade students for hands-on learning in cooking and art. These programs serve approximately 400 students each year, providing opportunities to build confidence, explore creativity, and develop valuable skills.

Continuing this work during a time of transition has required dedication and collaboration. Our volunteer board has been working closely with instructors Miss Mariah and Miss Jess to keep these experiences available to the children in our community.

Our first week was a success, and we extend a sincere thank-you to the Ella White fourth grade teachers for their partnership and support!

The gallery remains closed to the public until November 1. In the meantime, we continue working to sustain our programming and strengthen Art in the Loft’s future. We will soon share information about a fundraising campaign to help support these programs throughout the school year.

Thank you for your continued support and for helping us keep art, learning, and connection accessible to our community 💛

What a week at Art in the Loft! 🎨❤️

This week, our newly formed working Board of Directors came together and truly showed what it means to rally around an organization and a mission we all believe in. From tackling day-to-day needs to planning, organizing, problem-solving, and simply stepping in wherever needed, everyone brought their own talents to the table.

And last night, we had the perfect example of what working together can accomplish!

We had the pleasure of welcoming the Beyond Horizons tour group, who traveled all the way from Pennsylvania to experience Art in the Loft and a little piece of what makes our community so special.

Together, our team created an evening to remember. Raelyn shared the history and story of Art in the Loft, Paige kept everyone refreshed with drinks, Lane prepared a delicious stir-fry spread, and local artist Kamara Marsh brought art to life with a live demonstration while sharing what art means to her.

It was more than hosting a tour group. It was a reminder of exactly what Art in the Loft has always been about: art, education, connection, collaboration, and community.

This next chapter may look a little different, and there is plenty of work ahead, but this week reminded us just how much can happen when people come together, roll up their sleeves, and say, “How can I help?”

We are here. We are working together. And we are excited to keep creating the next chapter of Art in the Loft. ❤️🎨
