It’s been a long weird week. After probably a dozen truck loads, the basement is cleared out and starting to slowly dry.
Lost most of my darkroom equipment, the furnace, and lots of other materials. But the galleries and frame shop were spared.

Thank you to everyone near and far who reached out to check on me and the shop over the last few days! I received messages from friends spanning from Oregon to South Carolina and many places in between!! Park Place has been my home for close to 40 years and I’m glad it will remain that way.

After kayaking into the shop and pumping out the basement for nearly 12 hours, I was able to keep the water from reaching the floors - by just a few inches.

There is still lots of work to do, so PPA will be closed for at least a week, but I plan on being back open as soon as possible.

The White River reached 25 feet - normal height is around 4 feet. I’m lucky, many people have likely lost everything.

Thanks again for all the kind messages of support and concern, it kept me going when all seemed lost.
