CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS: The Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair is less than one month away, and we need volunteers to join our team July 16th - 18th! Support the arts, enjoy the fair, get a commemorative t-shirt, and make new friends!

JOIN US NEXT WEEK: The Second Ann Arbor Gallery Night of 2026!
We’re thrilled to be hosting a jewelry trunk show, featuring the work of Yazemin Ozil, Janet Rubenstein and Larry Sklar. In addition to presenting his work, Larry will be discussing the lapidary arts as sculpture.
But that’s not all! Check out the Sculpture Park for a performance by local jazz drummer Pete Siers, accompanied by a jazz trio and presented by the Kerrytown Concert House.
Don’t miss out on an evening of inspiration and creativity next Thursday, June 25th, from 5 - 8 PM. We can’t wait to see you there!

We are calling all artists to paint en plein air at Paint the Town, an exciting community event preluding the Ann Arbor Art Fair on Tuesday, July 14!

Participating artists will check in between 4:30-6pm before heading out to paint. The event runs from 5-9pm. There is no cost to participate, and all are welcome!

Design Your Own Bonsai Pot: A hands-on ceramic workshop with Tempest NeuCollins

Participants will be introduced to the art of bonsai and the relationship between tree and vessel. Working with pre-formed pots, you’ll develop a unique piece through surface, texture, and visual language while considering how it will pair with a living tree. Each pot will be professionally finished and fired offsite and returned to the gallery for pickup.

Date: June 27
Time: 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Location: Gutman Gallery
Price: $185 (includes ceramic pot, bonsai tree, and all materials)

The experience includes a bonsai starter kit from Green Witch Gardens, with planting instructions so you can complete your piece at home and continue the process beyond the workshop. No prior experience needed.
