Artist Spotlight: Andy McKenzie!

My name is Andy McKenzie and I'm an artist from South Shore, KY. I have found that I make my art on a very emotion-based cycle. Working with a philosophy of:

"I make art to feel good, but I have to feel good to make art."

With that mindset, every piece I create becomes a reflection of that specific moment in time in which I created it. Ultimately, I make art, because I want so badly to see beauty in an ever increasingly ugly world.

These pieces are called: "Some Flowers," and "Vibes."

Artist Spotlight: Julie Rhea Lewis!
“My artistic style embodies a sense of mature whimsy, conveying joy and playfulness through saturated colors and simplistic marks. Currently I have a small studio in Carter City where I help others enjoy their creativity. I work for my husband at J.F. Lewis & Co. Furniture store buying furniture and helping customers make decorating decisions. I have a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design.”
