HOW COOL IS THAT?!!! Officer Vorce took it upon herself to check it out and lock the door behind her!
We are BEYOND GRATEFUL for our NHBP Tribal Police Department for keeping an eye out for us!

Is everyone ready for the garage sale and silent Auction this weekend? We need your help to raise money for a new roof on our Museum. If you love quilts, there are four to bid on. We are so lucky to have awesome local quilters. We have had so many amazing donations. Here are a few pictures of some of the items available. This is just a small selection. There is so much more available. We have many gift certificates to bid on too. We hope you will join us at the Greenfield House this Friday and/or Saturday!

Donations for Yard Sale!

The Athens Area Historical Museum desperately needs a new roof.

The Athens Area Historical Society is having a yard sale and silent auction Friday, May 15 and Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the Greenfield House Community Center. We are now accepting donations for the yard sale. Any donations can be placed on the front porch of the Greenfield House or under the two canopies on the front lawn beginning Monday, May 11th.

Attention Athens area seniors!

Join us for the ATHENS SENIOR TIMES.

Tomorrow, April 21, 2026, we’ll have a special presentation: “Are You a Fall Risk?”

We gather every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Greenfield House Community Center, 215 N. Capital Ave., Athens 49011.

Enjoy social time from 11 a.m. to 12 (noon), followed by a complimentary lunch at noon. Afterward, we feature guest speakers, play games, and throw a party.
