Northern Indiana Plein Air Artists Our mission to mobilize artists resources to develop artists through workshops and plein air events

Our Mission is to provide the resources to artists for the creation, education, and dissemination of artistic endeavors of painting in plein air of landscapes of Northern Indiana through organizing workshops, hosting plein air paint outs, and providing opportunity for public exhibitions.

Please be advised due to health issues of the organizer and his approaching surgery it's sad to say the 3rd Annual South Bend Resurrect the Roses paint Out will be cancelled for 2026. Please look forward to it resuming in 2027.

🎨🌅 The best classroom has no walls.

Join local plein air artist Dave Broerman for a series of relaxed summer painting gatherings in some of the most beautiful locations around the Wawasee area.

Whether you're an experienced artist or simply curious about painting outdoors, these evenings offer an opportunity to slow down, observe the world around you, and capture it on canvas alongside fellow artists.

Meet at the Wawasee Fine Art Gallery at 5 p.m., then travel together to the evening's painting location. Guidance will be available, and a limited amount of equipment can be borrowed.
