This is one of my most treasured gifts given to me from my daughter a couple Christmases ago. Kayla is a super talented artist who specializes in portraits of people and pets.
The drawing is of my dad (who passed away on 2010) and her 3 kids who didn’t get to meet him in this life. She drew some extra elements that represent each if them. A lake, that reminds me of Canada, and morel mushrooms were added for my dad, who was an avid fisherman and incredible mushroom finder. Violets, roses, flowers and butterflies are signifcant for each of the kids.
If you have a special drawing project in mind, I’m sure she’d love to help bring your idea to life!
