A month ago we told you that Tiny’s Diner was getting a little refresh. Well…The verdict is in and the crab cakes have spoken! 🦀

Tiny’s Diner has had a MAJOR glow up! Say hello to the brand new Dockside Diner! 🎉 Same beloved exhibit, a whole new adventure waiting for you and the little ones to explore.

We took one of your favorite spots in the museum and gave it a fresh, seafood market-inspired refresh rooted right here in Baltimore history. Did you know Port Discovery sits on the site of Baltimore’s very first fish market? Now you do! 🌊🎣

Yesterday, members of our Port Discovery team had the chance to visit the new WayFinders exhibit at the Maryland Center for History and Culture.

WayFinders is a hands-on history experience for curious kids, inviting children to explore Maryland history through their senses by looking, smelling, listening, and touching. It was great to experience the exhibit firsthand, connect with their team, and learn more about the thoughtful ways they are engaging children and families through interactive learning.

We always appreciate opportunities to collaborate with and learn from fellow museums and cultural organizations across Baltimore. Experiences like this are a great reminder of the impact we can make when we continue sharing ideas and supporting one another.

Thank you again to the Maryland Center for History and Culture team for welcoming us!
