✨ This past Saturday, we had the absolute joy of welcoming an incredible group of guests to Found Fine Art in Bastrop!

Lindsey, Moose & Juan each experienced the gallery in their own unique way — with varying levels of visual impairment — and it was truly moving to witness how deeply they connected with the art. From carefully touching the bronze sculptures and feeling every textured detail to listening intently as our team described the colors, emotions, light, and stories behind each piece… the experience was pure magic. ❤️

We’re so grateful for guests like this who remind us why accessibility and heartfelt storytelling matter so much in the art world. Art isn’t just for looking — it’s for feeling, experiencing, and connecting.

Thank you for trusting us with your Saturday and for letting us be part of your art journey!

We were also thrilled to see “Meditation Lake” by Russell Strawn Smith find a wonderful home with this delightful friend! Avery realized she was gifted a treasured necklace by Russell more than a decade ago, and when she saw his work again, she was just as enamored with it.

This stunning necklace includes sculpted sterling silver, 14k yellow gold embellishments and a striking piece of Mother of Pearl. This design was inspired by Lake Tahoe, featuring a Moon over mountains with spruce trees, a crossing bridge, and reflections in the lake. The backside of this necklace has rippling water details and a stream around the sides, with a lotus flower at the top by the bale.

Great art + great people = a pretty darn great day!
