Calling all artists! Looking for a space to exhibit your artwork? Become a member and show four times a year! Your first show is free and all others are $15 for one or two pieces.
GUIDELINES FOR DISPLAYING ART WORK
Here are the guidelines for up to 2 pieces of artwork to be displayed.
1. All work 2D and 3D must have the following information on the back of the piece: Title of art, Artist’s name, Medium, Retail price (80% to he artist), contact information for the artist.
2. All 2D work must be framed, gallery wrapped, or properly mounted. PLEASE USE SOLID D-CLIPS OR HEAVY GAUGE METAL LOOPS TO SECURE YOUR WIRE ON THE BACK. WE CAN NO LONGER ACCEPT "OPEN" D-CLIPS.
A. NO SAW TOOTH hangers are accepted
B. Work must be properly WIRED to support the weight of the piece (no string)
C. Gallery wrapped canvas work must be 1” or deeper, and all sides painted
D. All fragile or on paper work must be framed under glass or plexiglass.
E. Frames cannot be damaged, cracked or scratched.
3. All 2D work limitations
A. Work must weigh less than 50 lbs.
B. No work larger than 48” in width framed or unframed.
C. No work that is wet or uncured at time of delivery will be hung.
D. No work deemed to be too fragile or dangerous will be hung.
E. Diptychs are considered as 2 pieces.
(Work that does not follow these guidelines will be returned to the artist).
4. For 3D artwork, the Art Center has pedestals or shelves for display
