The Bridges Emporium The Bridges Emporium at 920 Main has 7 unique shops featuring more than a dozen local artists.

We offer extraordinary one-of-a-kind ART & GIFTS for every taste, occasion, and budget. All shops have associates who live nearby and all shops have "by appointment" hours as well as the regular posted hours. The diverse original works range in price from $5.00 up to several hundred for large work.

First Friday, September 4, 5pm-8pm, and throughout September, Look for our colorful papel picado-inspired sidewalk chalk mural, then come inside to wander among flags of Hispanic and Latino countries. How many can you name? Visit our "In the Spotlight" wall to get an idea of the creativity each country has shared with the world. Leave your mark on the Wall: add a sticker with your connection to a country or the creative legacy it gave us. While you're here, create your own simple nierika yarn art to keep!

Words cannot begin to describe the sadness we feel at losing Evonne. Many times, without realizing it, she was the glue that helped hold all our chaos together.
Please join us this Fri/Sat/Sun (July 17/18/19) as we celebrate her contribution to our lives with an exhibit and sale of some of her best work. All proceeds go to the Winter family.
In addition, we will have materials on hand for those of you who'd like to leave a note or memory to share with others on our Spotlight wall. We miss you, Evonne.

Main Event Bastrop TX Art and The Bridges Emporium hosted a Freedom "Quilt" for July 3rd First Friday (and Saturday and Sunday). Everyone was invited to create their own "quilt" square celebrating our Freedoms and put it up with everyone else's. Below are photos of when it was first getting started on Friday, and after we cleaned up the last stars, stripes, glitter and colored paper Sunday afternoon. We the People CREATE!
