The BMRC is a group of HO model railroaders from all over the southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio area who are actively working on building, operating, and maintaining a large HO scale model railroad with a focus on the Chesapeake & Ohio and Clinchfield railroads in northeastern Kentucky, western West Virginia, and eastern Tennessee.

• 2300 sq ft HO scale railroad
• Over 3000 ft of mainline (49 HO scale miles!)
• 5 levels, 16 towns, 52 industries including the Armco Steel Mill and Port of Toledo

BMRC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and is open regularly to the public, schools, scouts, churches, service clubs, and other groups. Membership is CLOSED and student membership is open from age 15 (12 with a parent) through college as long as he/she remains a student. All our members come from communities around the Blissfield area.

It’s been a couple of weeks, but we want to thank everyone who came out for our March open house. We still have one more this season. Our next open house will be April 18-19 from 10:00am-3:00pm each day.

Our next open house is this weekend Saturday and Sunday January 17 and 18. We will be open from 10:00am-3:00pm each day. And it’s FREE! We are open to all ages and our club is accessible. We do accept and appreciate donations if you’re feeling charitable. We’ll see you all this weekend!

It’s a new year! We hope everyone’s holidays were full of family and joy. We will be hosting our next open house this month on January 17 and January 18 from 10:00am to 3:00pm each day.

Our next open house is this weekend! We will be open Saturday and Sunday 12/20 and 12/21 from 10:00am-3:00pm each day. In addition to our members’ trains we will be running our Christmas train which is a model of the Canadian Pacific Christmas train. So come check us out. We love showing off our layout any time, but especially during the holidays. The open house is free, but we accept and appreciate donations. We are accessible and open to all ages.
