The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame mourns the passing of Hall of Famer Mike Kidd, and extends its sincere condolences to his family and friends. He was 72.

The 1981 AMA Grand National Champion, Kidd’s racing career was defined by his perseverance in the face of much adversity. Beyond his chops as a racer, Kidd was a top promoter of AMA races in the 1980s and 1990s, and founded the AMA Arenacross Series in 1985.

Very sad to hear this news.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of George Barber. He built more than an organization—he built a community.

HOUSTON, TX - Ride for kids!
The Houston Ride for Kids event is a significant initiative aimed at supporting children battling brain tumors. The event will take place on Sunday - May 17, 2026, at the Lone Star Community Center, 2500 Lone Star Parkway, Montgomery, TX. All makes and models of street bikes are welcome to participate. This event is a testament to the community's commitment to raising funds and awareness for pediatric brain tumor research and care.
