The Grover Cleveland Presidential Library & Museum is excited to host the launch of “Ulysses’s Odyssey: Ulysses S. Grant’s World Tour at the Dawn of American Empire” written by board trustee Louis L. Picone

The event will feature an interview with the author by James Gardner, board trustee and host of the “Your History Your Story” podcast, followed by a Q&A and book signing.

Guests can purchase copies of the book and thematic refreshments will include Victorian coffee, tea and snacks, and authentic Japanese treats (Grant spent over two months in Japan).

A very busy day.

This morning, we have the West Essex Amateur Radio Club is here at the Grover Cleveland Birthplace Visitor Center, offering a special event station celebrating the birthday of President Grover Cleveland.

George Cleveland is HERE at the Birthplace!! And Ulysses Grant Dietz and Jay Garfield, too!

This afternoon at 1pm, our main event is going to be at the Grover Cleveland Middle School at 36 Academy Road, Caldwell, New Jersey.

President Grover Cleveland, President Ulysses Grant and President Garfield’s descents will be speaking with James Gardner, a host of Your History Your Story podcast.
