We're all set up and ready to go at the Antique & Classic Boat Show Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum !

Step back into the Roaring Twenties aboard the historic buyboat Dudley for an unforgettable evening on the Choptank River.

Join us on Saturday, July 11 for our Speakeasy Sunset Cruise featuring Prohibition-inspired cocktails and mocktails, delicious hors d'oeuvres, decadent desserts, Jazz Age music, and beautiful sunset views.

Boarding: 5:45 p.m.
Cruise: 6:00–8:00 p.m.
Cost: $95 per person

We're heading to the Antique & Classic Boat Show this weekend at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels!

If you're attending, be sure to stop by the Richardson Maritime Museum booth and say hello to our amazing volunteers. We'd love to share what we've been working on, answer your questions, and tell you about all the exciting things happening at the museum.

We are proud to partner with the DCPS Career Coaching Program and local homeschooling programs through our Youth Skua Boat Building class.

These photos capture some of the latest milestones as students continue building their boats. They are getting one hull ready for fiberglass and fitting reinforcement stiffeners for the race boat cockpit. Every class gives them new skills and brings them one step closer to launching boats they built with their own hands.

This program is made possible through the generous support of the Cambridge Yacht Club Foundation Grant, Accurate Marine, and the Nathan Foundation.

We cannot wait to see these Skuas out on the water later this summer!

We're happy to announce that we'll be setting up a booth at this year's Antique & Classic Boat Show at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels on June 19, 20, and 21!

Be sure to stop by the Richardson Maritime Museum table and say hello to our wonderful volunteers. We'd love to share what we've been working on, answer your questions, and tell you about all the exciting things happening at the museum.

We're excited to welcome Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum's guest instructor Steve Garrand to Richardson Maritime Museum for a special class - Vessel Documentation: Recording the Lines.

Join us July 18–19 (9am–3pm) to learn the fundamentals of vessel documentation and drafting while recording the lines of the historic vessel Peregrine. Participants will take measurements and learn how those dimensions are transformed into a set of working plans for construction and archival purposes.

No prior experience is required. All skill levels are welcome.
