Kanisteo Historical Society leader George Dickey takes his new copy of the Loyal Sons of Hornellsville from Chris for his backing of our project. George recognized many Canisteo natives on the Hornellsville Loyal Sons list who enlisted in Hornellsville during the war of the rebellion. Several of the men from Canisteo are considered adopted sons and eligible to be placed on the soldiers monument at Hope Cemetery. Thanks George for remembering Canisteo's contribution to saving the Union.
