The staff and board of the D.W. Correll Museum would like to thank the Catoosa Chamber of Commerce, the City of Catoosa, U.S. Congressman Kevin Hern and, of course, the many dedicated volunteers and supporters in Catoosa and beyond who help make this place what it is. We are honored to receive Catoosa's 2026 Non-Profit of the Year award.

We had a visit from Brian Busse from the show Prospectors today. It was really nice to meet him, and we had a good conversation about the mining business. It was a very interesting conversation. Keep playing with rocks, folks! You never know who you might meet.

This large (approximately 1800 lb) piece of petrified wood has been donated to the museum from the estate of Bob and Nancy Hicks, Collinsville, OK. Pieces this large are hard to come by, and hard to move! This piece sits in our rock garden on the West side of the museum. What a fantastic addition to the D.W. Correll Museum! Many thanks to those who helped get it here
