🎨 2025 First Prize Winner

Last year's First Prize winner at the MacCallum More Juried Art Show was Linda Hollett-Bazouzi for her oil painting, Juxtaposition (Cairo).

Linda is an accomplished landscape painter whose work has taken her around the world. A dedicated plein air artist, she paints on location using a palette knife and water-miscible oils, capturing scenes from places as diverse as Egypt, Morocco, Italy, Tunisia, Jerusalem, and beyond.

A former art educator with more than 35 years of experience, Linda holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Art from Radford University and has shared her passion for art through teaching, workshops, and service as a docent at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.

Her award-winning painting reminds us that every artist brings a unique perspective and story to the exhibition.

🎨 Meet the 2026 Juror

We are pleased to welcome Veronica Jackson as the juror for the 2026 Juried Art Show.

Jackson is a Virginia-based visual artist whose work explores memory, storytelling, and personal history through layered visual narratives. Her work has been exhibited throughout Virginia and beyond, including at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, and the Visual Arts Center of Richmond.

Artists entering this year's exhibition will have their work reviewed by a juror with extensive experience as both a practicing artist and exhibit designer.
