This wonderful digital collage was made by Nellie Seigel in tribute to Tony Fitzpatrick. This version is a re-worked version of the original. The first version had Tony's wonderful eyes looking out at us. This version substitutes elements that were important to Tony and remains a loving tribute to him.

This new version is now available on the SoNa Chicago purchase site. https://sonachicagoart.com/purchase/p/the-big-glue-v-2-by-nellie-seigel

We had a wonderful Opening Reception last night for "Pieces Too Short to Save: A Survey of Contemporary Collage," an exhibition honoring the late Tony Fitzpatrick. Tony was working with us on this show when he passed away last October. A highlight of the event was the short program where a few of the artists spoke, Tony's family members Max, and Gabrielle read from his poetry, and his wife Michele closed the program with heartfelt comments.

Thank you to all who came to the gallery for the Wednesday and Saturday receptions and helped create two wonderful opening events for this special show. The exhibition will be open through Saturday, May 30.

Artists in the show: Lisa Barcy, Lou Beach, Monica J. Brown, Andrea Burgay, Tony Fitzpatrick, Gen Gauthier, Paul Loughney, Jack Poker, Nellie Seigel, and Paloma Shaloma (Trecka)

The guests spilled out into the courtyard and into the gallery annex where Tom Robinson, Loralyn Kumlin, Jack Poker, and Mirentxu Ganzarain's artwork is on display.
