🌿 NeXT.cc Supports the Revitalizing America’s Schoolyards Act! 🏫🌱
At NeXT.cc, we champion ethical, ecological, and experiential learning. That’s why we’re proud to stand with 70+ organizations in supporting the Revitalizing America’s Schoolyards Act—a visionary bill that funds the transformation of asphalt-covered schoolyards into green, living learning environments.
📚 Why It Matters
Nearly 50 million children in the U.S. attend school on public land that is mostly paved. These spaces can and should be transformed into park-like outdoor classrooms—filled with trees, gardens, and natural play areas—that:
✅ Strengthen local ecological systems
✅ Provide hands-on learning resources
✅ Encourage nature play and social connection
✅ Improve the health and well-being of students and communities
🗳️ Senator Heinrich (NM) will introduce the bill when Congress returns from summer recess. There's still time to sign on in support—especially if you represent an organization that values education, equity, environment, or public health.
