🎨 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT | Chandler Lynn Carter

Meet Chandler Lynn Carter, a multidisciplinary artist whose work explores memory, identity, loss, and the emotional connections we form with people, places, and objects.

Working with drawing, painting, textiles, embroidery, and found materials, Carter brings together fragments of personal history and everyday life. Collected objects, photographs, beads, and remnants become part of layered compositions that preserve traces of lived experiences.

Through these intimate and often unconventional combinations of materials, Carter explores vulnerability, transformation, and the complicated relationship between joy and sorrow. The work reflects on what we carry from our past and how the creative process can help us make meaning from those experiences.

🎨 ARTIST SPOTLIGHT | Blaine Vance [ICHORTOWN]

Meet Blaine Vance [ICHORTOWN], an artist whose work embraces the dark, grotesque, and monstrous as a way of exploring curiosity, connection, and understanding.

Rather than planning each piece in advance, Vance begins with a feeling and allows images to emerge through the act of painting. The resulting figures often feel mysterious or unsettling, but his work asks viewers to look beyond fear and consider the stories these creatures might hold.

Through ICHORTOWN, Vance creates a world where the strange and unwanted are given space, dignity, and a chance to be understood.
