What a wonderful evening of history!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our History Talks: Gold, Growth & the Making of Concord lecture. We were honored to hear from local historian John Dysart, whose years of research and passion brought Cabarrus County’s gold rush story to life in such an engaging way.

From early mining history to the people and places that shaped our community, it was truly insightful.

A special thank you to our board members who attended and supported this program, and to Alex Porter for helping bring this opportunity forward.

If you weren’t able to join us, come see us inside the Historic Courthouse on March 28th during the Cabarrus Arts Council Art Walk!
