Mustang Owner's Museum

Mustang Owner's Museum www.mustangownersmuseum.com Did you know the 1 millionth Mustang was built one year after being introduce to the car world?

Did you know it took 40 years for the Corvette to build 1 million vehicles? And yet the Corvette has a museum, and the bestselling sports car does not. That is about change as Ron Bramlett and Steve Hall, the Executive Event Director and Deputy Event Director for the Mustang 50th have teamed again to correct this oblivious omission. The Mustang Owner's Museum is located in Concord, NC. Why Concord

, NC, “where racing lives?” It is a major automotive destination for enthusiasts, with NASCAR, NHRA, and Auto Fair having events scheduled twice a year. In addition, the local NASCAR shops are open to the public. That's just part of the reason the county of Cabarrus and the city Concord experienced the passion of Mustang enthusiast in 2014 and have welcome the Museum with open arms. Now add the thousands of Mustangs, both locally and across the country, makes Concord, NC is the perfect home for the Mustang Owner's Museum.

Even though the sun stayed hidden and the morning started out a little damp, we still had a fantastic turnout for our Spring All Ford Car Show & Ice Cream Social!

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out, brought their amazing vehicles, and spent the day with us at the Museum. From classic Mustangs to modern Fords, the parking lot was filled with incredible cars and even better company.

We truly appreciate everyone who supported the event and helped make it such a fun day despite the weather. Events like these are what make the Mustang and Ford community so special. We can’t wait to do it again soon!

The Mustang of the Month is a 1966 Coupe. The Mustang of the Month available for sale at AutoBarn Classic Cars, located in Concord, NC.

The Ford Mustang is one of the most iconic American cars of the 1960s. The first-generation lineup, introduced by in 1964, offered unique styling with a long hood and short deck that proved wildly popular and went on to inspire future generations of 'Pony' cars.

Arcadian Blue Coupe with Pony Interior-

This handsome 1966 Mustang coupe was the beneficiary of a partial restoration in 2010. The solid body was reshot in factory Arcadian Blue (F code) and all chrome is in very good condition. Factory 14” steel wheels with Mustang wire wheel covers mount Nexen whitewall radial tires. The 'Luxury Pony' interior package (62 code) is believed to be the original Blue/White vinyl upholstery. Features include a center console w/shifter, classic 3-spoke wheel and tinted windows. The dash holds a set of factory analogue gauges, 'wood' accent panels and a Kenwood AM/FM/Cassette sound system for your tunes.

Classic 289 Windsor Power-

This Mustang was a 289/2V 'C' code from the factory. It is said to have never required a rebuild, runs extremely well and looks classy with a chrome dress-up package. Additional information from the factory trim tag indicates that the 3-speed automatic transmission was a C4 unit and differential gearing is 3.50:1 (code 6). The chassis is fitted with manual steering, power brakes with dual master cylinder, dual exhaust with 'GT trumpet-style' tips and a front shock tower brace.

The 1966 Mustang combined sporty styling and strong performance with affordability. Today, it remains a favorite among collectors for its classic design, mechanical simplicity and cultural significance. This handsome '66 Mustang is a fine example of this enduring classic that you can enjoy for many years. Come by and check it out - you will not be disappointed. ALL VEHICLES SOLD “AS IS”.
