The Joan Derryberry Art Gallery at Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN invites individual artists to submit proposals for exhibition opportunities during the Academic years 2027-2028 and 2028-2029.

We welcome submission in all mediums except digital and performance. Each exhibition runs for approximately 4 weeks and culminates with a gallery talk given by each exhibiting artist. Accepted artists are awarded a stipend along with shipping/delivery expenses. Our non-profit gallery is centrally located in the Roaden University Center on the main campus of Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN. The gallery ceilings are 10’ high; the floor space measures 35’x 30’ and the running wall space totals 115 feet; no ceiling mounted works accepted. Artwork is insured and gallery attendants always monitor the gallery during each exhibition.
Requirements for submissions:
- Include a single PDF with 8-10 digital images of representative artwork, artist statement of no longer than 150 words and an image list, which includes: title, dimensions, materials, date.
- E-mail your submission to [email protected]
- Late, incomplete or incorrectly formatted submissions will not be accepted
- E-mail receipt of April 15, 2026. No late entries will be accepted.
