How many artifacts does it take to tell the story of Coronado? CHA is currently caring for 3,200 artifacts in the collection—and counting! Every year, we add more pieces because, when it comes to Coronado’s history, our curator says 3,200 is not enough. Every artifact has a story to tell, and we’re collecting them all. Join us at the 7th Annual Collections Luncheon to learn more about CHA’s artifacts and the stories they tell. Get your ticket today!

Playbills and other ephemera offer a fascinating glimpse into the past. They capture the people, places, and culture of their time. CHA is currently collecting playbills from past Coronado Playhouse performances to help preserve these small but meaningful pieces of history and make them available for future generations to explore. Do you have an old playbill tucked away? We’d love to hear from you! Email us at [email protected] and be sure to stop by the museum to check out the display of Playhouse history.

What a historic success! Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Community Salute reception celebrating community and America250! We gathered to celebrate CHA’s Flag Mural Project, featuring over 200 hand-painted tiles created by local residents, military personnel, and civic leaders. Made possible by the 's Arts & Culture Grant, this vibrant artwork is a true visual tapestry of our island community. A special thank you to Westwind Brass for the patriotic music! If you missed the event, stop by the museum gallery to experience this magnificent creation in person.
