Happy Memorial Day! Our deepest gratitude to those who served protecting our nation’s freedom. Rolls-Royce commissioned Packard to build 55,000 V-12 Merlin aircraft engines, powering multiple war planes in World War 2. Most notably the P-51 Mustang was the aircraft of the the first black squadron of fighter pilots ever. The “Red Tails” as they were known were among the most successful squadrons in WW2 American air superiority.

Part of our British Invasion exhibit, meet the 1937 Super Eight Limousine. This car was driven by Joseph Kennedy when he became the ambassador to the United Kingdom 🇬🇧featuring right hand drive, this is truly one of the most rare and iconic vehicles on display in the museum. Come check it out in person!

Big shout out to the American Sign Museum for bringing a few of our neon signs back to life just in time for our spring fling this year. The folks at the neon works workshop there were AMAZING. Their workshop was incredible, and the museum was one of the coolest experiences! Such an incredible journey through the art of signage throughout history. Truly a must visit! Also check out that super cool Packard sales sign!

Movie night at America's Packard Museum was a huge success! We partnered with Ohio Goes to the Movies for a showing of about the first NFL game played right here in Dayton. We hosted a sold out show with special guests jimmy bell hosting a Q&A with writer/director . We even had a special guest in the audience, ! We are honored to be chosen for the screening of this historic movie and to have so many friends come to support the arts in Dayton and Ohio. As Allen says: 'For the Love of the Game!
