The past couple of weekends we’ve been on the go doing some outreach in our community and beyond!

However, the afternoon is still young, and it’s a beautiful day to come visit us at the Heritage Center! 😃

The Humphrey Heritage Village is looking beautiful, and the grounds are lush and green!

Come explore the historic buildings, or bring a book and come read under the shade of a tree, or even under the bandstand! 😊

If you need to cool off, the Ward & Meibergen Exhibition Hall has lots of neat stuff… including AC! 😉🤣

Come see us! Don’t forget, an NJCAA Division II World Series ticket from David Allen Memorial Ballpark gets you 1/2 off admission! 🥳

We’re out at the Vance Air Force Base library for their Summer Reading Kick Off Party from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.! 😃🌿📚

Their theme is “Plant A Seed & Read,” so we’re talking about different crops and the products/food they provide for us! We’re also grinding coffee beans and corn! 🌽☕️

They also have yard games, and the Garfield County OSU Extension Office is here with additional activities! 🤩

Baseball has pretty much always been a big deal for Enid! 😄⚾️

We just couldn't let the NJCAA Division II World Series kick off at David Allen Memorial Ballpark without sharing this awesome photograph!

Shown here is a big parade coming up Grand on the 100 block of West Randolph in 1908, celebrating the opening of baseball season for the Western Association that year!

Don’t forget to bring in your World Series tickets for 1/2 off admission to the museum! 😊

School might be out, but summer is still a GREAT time to learn! 😃

We’re walking a homeschool group through the past today, giving them a glimpse of what life may have looked like for homesteaders in the Cherokee Outlet in the late nineteenth century! 🤠

Lots of hands-on history through homesteading chores! Roping cattle, hauling water, washing laundry, making butter, grinding corn, and even learning about making sourdough bread! 🍞 🧈🌽🧺

If you’d like to schedule an experience for your group, club, or class, let us know! 😊
