Fort Kids Children’s Museum is excited to bring back the LEMONADE STAND CHALLENGE

On Saturday, June 6th, kids ages 5–11 will learn how to create, brand, market, and launch their very own lemonade business! This hands-on experience is designed to help young entrepreneurs build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and real-world business skills, all while having FUN.

Give us this, EVERY SINGLE DAY! The magic of learning through play, of making new friends, of coming out of comfort zones, expanding, imagining, and sharing moments together. Today we got to partner with our friends at and to create possibility through play!
These girls rocked their creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills doing a STEM activity with blocks.
The best part… they remembered us from last year. 🥹 We’ve gotten to watch them grow.
Fort Kids loves being a museum without walls, but can you imagine the possibility if we could do this every day? We will get there! Let’s build our FORT! We’ve got some kiddos ready and excited!
We are so grateful to the crew for always making these events special and for ! We are excited to keep creating programming and Dreaming BIG.

Healing and Supportive Play for Neurodivergent Children

Join us Tuesday, February 10th at 5:30pm at the Main Library for a powerful and practical evening designed to support and empower parents.

This session will be facilitated by Jennifer Davis, LPC — counselor and mother of a son with a neurodivergent diagnosis. Jennifer brings both lived experience and professional expertise, offering parents tools that are grounded in compassion, understanding, and real life.

Play is not just fun — it is communication. It is regulation. It is connection. And for neurodivergent children, supportive play can be a bridge to healing, confidence, and growth.

This evening will equip parents with strategies to:
• Connect more deeply through play
• Support regulation and emotional safety
• Strengthen resilience in their children

You are not alone in this journey. Come learn, connect, and leave feeling encouraged and empowered. 💛
