Smith Studio and Gallery At Smith Studio and Gallery we believe the visual arts enriches everyone’s life. We offer a wide range of children and adult art classes.

In addition we feature art work by David Smith, owner/artist/teacher and over 22 established regional artist. SMITH STUDIO AND GALLERY is a gathering place for anyone who believes in the creative process, whether you gain inspiration by enjoying the creative expression of artists . . . or have fun exploring your own creative path by participating in art classes. AS A STUDIO we offer art classes fo

r all ages. You can sign up for one of our scheduled art classes or Plan Your Own Private Art Class that fits your group’s schedule and interest. Our goal is for everyone to have a positive experience and Find Joy in the Journey! AS A GALLERY we feature original artwork by David Smith, owner/resident artist, and represent over 22 extraordinary 2-D and 3-D regional gallery and art fair artists located throughout Illinois, Iowa and Wisconsin. We continually are on the lookout for current, innovative artists, who may not normally show in the area, to invite into our gallery for two month solo exhibition in our upper gallery.

We just had visitors, at the Smith Studio and Gallery, who came here from Minnesota. They wanted to see the quilts that are on exhibit at the new Geneseo Quilt Gallery that is located in our upper exhibition area. We had a lot of fun with them as they marveled at the talent of our Geneseo quilters!
