The Fitton Center education team - including a new summer-camp intern - is converting the dance studio into a check-in area for families starting June 8. Three of our first-week camps are sold out, but there's still room for campers in Anything But a Brush, The Cutest Camp and Unraveled Tactile Art Camp. Our friends at the Hamilton Community Foundation (OH), City of Hamilton, Ohio - City Hall Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and Hamilton Veterans Hall of Fame have a new banner directory that will guide you to any of the nearly 900 banners on view around the city from Memorial Day to Veterans Day. A great tribute to those from this city who served.

Attached, you'll find a directory highlighting all of the Hometown Hero Banners that are flying high and where they are located.

DON'T FORGET!
As Summer Camp Creativity 2026 approaches, we're hoping to boost our stock on some recyclable items to help our campers make art: paper towel and toilet paper rolls, cardboard pint and quart milk and cream cartons, empty cans (like fruits & veggies, not soda) and empty two-liter bottles. We'll have a collection station set in the main office if you have any you'd like to donate. (We'd just ask that you rinse out the cans, bottles and cartons first.)

SUMMER CAMP CREATIVITY 2026
There are a lot of choices for summer camps this season. We're super excited to launch ours next week and keep them going for 300-some young artists through July. Thanks to our friends at the Journal-News for sharing all of these exciting options.

FLOWN THE COOP
The three fledgling peregrine falcons hatched on the railroad trestle a little downriver from the Fitton Center earlier this spring have flown the nest and landed in our parking lot and atop the power pole at the end of our driveway. Birders were here bright and early this morning armed with telephoto lenses to capture images. We've invited them to share some of their photos, so cross your fingers we can get some of their shots to post here. Stay tuned.
Or - you know - just come out and see them for yourself.
