We’re back with more new artwork of the week – featuring Rebecca Reed and Christina Hanes 😊

🎨 Rebecca
Rebecca’s art style is all about fun, creativity, and bringing her unique ideas to life. She loves sketching original concepts in her binder and turning those imaginative designs into colorful works of art. Her watermelon mug perfectly reflects her playful summer-inspired style, as she experimented with bright glazes to create a bold and cheerful piece. Rebecca says being part of Inspiration Studios has given her a strong sense of community and a place where she can connect with others while continuing to grow as an artist. She enjoys the variety of opportunities available in the studio each day and appreciates being able to explore new techniques and mediums. While she loves both clay and fused glass equally for their different creative possibilities, choosing a favorite project has been difficult because she enjoys them all.

🎨 Christina
Christina describes her art style as exciting, which shines through in the energetic and colorful pieces she creates. Her recent ceramic vase was one of the larger projects she has worked on, and she especially enjoyed experimenting with a new glaze combination that reminded her of the colors and movement of ocean water. Christina says Inspiration Studios has given her a welcoming place to create while learning more about different artistic materials and techniques with support from the staff. She also values the sense of community at the studio and enjoys being surrounded by fellow artists who make her feel included and encouraged. Clay is Christina’s favorite medium because she loves the way it feels to work with and appreciates the endless creative possibilities it offers. She also enjoys participating in group projects, where she can connect with her peers while creating art together.

It’s time for our next Wellness Feature! 💪🌿

This year, we’re highlighting each pillar of wellness through the voices of our Inclusive Wellness clients. This week, we’re focusing on Physical Fitness by spotlighting our YMCA partnership. Let’s hear what Bobbie Jo has to share about building healthy routines and working toward her goals through the Inclusive Wellness program!

“My favorite part of the program is going swimming at the Y. I really enjoy the staff and my friends in the wellness program, it’s so much fun! I would also love to learn more about cooking in the program.”

Today, Grace and Colton attended the Adopt A Class Celebration Breakfast at the First Financial Center! 🧡🙂

We are so grateful to have been selected as a finalist for Best Nonprofit Partner Team! 🏆

We had an amazing school year with Adopt A Class and are looking forward to many more to come! ✏️📚

We’re back with more new artwork of the week – featuring Brett Garrett & Mallory Miller🌟 😊

🎨 Brett
Brett is an artist who enjoys creating abstract and stylized works that push creative boundaries. For this yellow and silver glass dish, he used complementary colors and metallic glass to create a visually complex yet functional piece. Brett appreciates abstract art because it is fluid, freeing, and unlike anything seen in everyday life. Through the studio, he has been able to earn income from his artwork while also connecting more with the community and fellow artists. While he enjoys working with many materials, Brett’s favorite medium is paint — especially creating floral paintings.

🎨 Mallory
Mallory’s art style is inspired by the seasons and trends around her, often featuring simple flowing designs, monochrome color palettes, and playful touches like cute animals. For this piece, Mallory stepped outside of her comfort zone by experimenting with clay — a medium she does not typically work with. She challenged herself to create a unique design while practicing hand-building geometric shapes and exploring new creative techniques. At Inspiration Studios, Mallory enjoys connecting with others, sharing stories, and spending time with like-minded peers in a creative environment. She appreciates having a place to socialize, express herself, and engage in meaningful artistic activities.

What an unforgettable night. Thank you to every single person who attended, sponsored, volunteered, donated, performed, danced, supported, and celebrated with us. Because of YOU, SHIFT was an incredible success. 😊

Seeing our community come together in such a powerful way to support the artists and individuals we serve at Inspiration Studios meant more than we can put into words. The energy, the love, the creativity, and the joy in the room was something truly special. 💛

We are so grateful for everyone who helped make this event possible — and we can’t wait to share even more moments from the night soon. But for now, here are a few sneak peeks from an amazing evening 💜
