The New Kid in Town at is coming up this Saturday, October 17th with an opening reception from 6-9p!

Anna Gukov is featured in this show, she is a recent transplant from Brooklyn, NY, where she spent the last ten years working in furniture and interior design. This work started an inquiry into built environments that led her to pursue an MFA in Ceramics at Cranbrook Academy of Art in the fall of 2025. Drawing on her professional background, she is interested in how the objects and environments we live with shape and reflect the self, cultural values, and desires.

See her work and more at Hatch this Saturday.

Come help welcome 9 artists who have recently relocated from around the US to the Detroit area. Some come as students, some come for new jobs, some come to get a fresh start. Whatever their reason, Hatch is excited to help announce their art to the community.
