First Friday feels š¤
Grateful to Dana from for inviting to host the May 1st First Friday event. These events create so much opportunity, and what sheās building over there is really beautiful to witness. Iām thankful to play even a small part in it.
We had the chance to hand-select each vendor, and they truly showed up. Every brand brought something unique to the space, and you could feel it.
We also had so much fun with Black Business Bingoāsuch a simple but powerful way to get people interacting. Everyone filled in different Black-owned businesses across the Triad based on each category, and it really showed how much is out hereā¦ and how much we still have to discover. Thatās why spaces like The Buy Black Guide matterāwe get to actually find these businesses and support them. šš¾
And letās talk about the food for a secondā¦ did not come to play š®āš„ people were going back for more all night. Definitely one of the highlights.
Nights like this remind me how powerful it is when community comes togetherāgood energy, good people, and space to connect.
