Bittersweet news...

For many years, we have been honored to carry the handmade jewelry of Ashka Dymel. Her architectural approach, modernist aesthetic, and innovative stone-setting techniques have made her work instantly recognizable and deeply loved by collectors.

We recently learned that Ashka is retiring and moving from Brooklyn to France. The collection now in our gallery is the final order we will receive.

Every piece is handmade in Brooklyn using sterling silver, 18k gold bi-metal, and beautiful semi-precious stones. Her designs are inspired by Bauhaus principles, geometric harmony, and the belief that jewelry can be both art and adornment.

If you've ever admired Ashka's work, now is the time to add a piece to your collection.

Thank you, Ashka, for the beauty, craftsmanship, and creativity you've shared with us over the years.

Here is another one of those pieces of "Vintage pottery" by Wally Smith which has popped up on Ebay. This is a very nice salt glazed piece which I did around 1980. There is a very similar piece in the permanent collection of the Southern Highland Craft Guild.

A fresh shipment of handmade cherry wood spoons from Jonathan Simons has just arrived.

We have carried Jonathan's work for years, and in our opinion, he is one of the finest spoon makers in America. Every utensil is handcrafted from Pennsylvania cherry wood and reflects more than four decades of thoughtful design, experimentation, and craftsmanship.

What we love most is that these aren't simply beautiful objects—they are tools designed to be used every day. Comfortable in the hand, durable in the kitchen, and made to last for years.

Stop by and see the new selection before your favorites disappear.

Fresh from the furnaces of Vitrix Hot Glass Studio in Corning, New York, we've received three extraordinary Heechee sculptures by master glassblower Tom Kelly.

Created in America's Crystal City, these captivating works blend color, movement, and imagination into forms that seem almost alive. Each Heechee is individually handmade through a process that combines artistic vision with the unpredictable beauty of molten glass.

Housed in the historic building once occupied by the renowned T.G. Hawkes & Company, Vitrix continues a legacy of glass excellence more than a century in the making.

Tom Kelly puts it best:
"I don't think I really control the molten glass. I just influence it."
Come see these remarkable pieces in person before they find their forever homes.
